"Very traditional ryokan and very clean. The rooms were a decent size and the area was quiet. The staff offers you a book with recommendations such as dining and sight seeing attractions as well as how to get there by bus or transit. The ryokan also offers breakfast and other services for a fee, but the breakfast we had was amazing. They also have a bath you can rent for the hour which was a life saver after walking all day. "If you are Japanese this is a very nice hotel with a hassle free self checkin. Avoid room 101 because you will be awaken whenever a guest on the upper floors drains their tub. If you hold a foreign passport look for another hotel. I will spare you the problems I had getting mine to them. Just look for a hotel with a human at the front desk. Good advice throughout Japan. "
