"What a lovely surprise! When I learnt this was a conference centre, I was unsure, but it was the most conveniently placed for my work. I'm so glad I did. The whole ambience was lovely, with a spacious, warm, comfortable room and lots of TV options. Breakfast had a wonderful variety of top quality locally sourced food, and a bonus was the Stables Pub with real ale and pub classics like chilli, fish & chips, beef and ale pie. "This was a really nice stay. The staff were welcoming, the foyer is really modern and it was nice to sit and have a drink. The rooms, had some small stains on the carpet and very thin duvets, but apart from that, they were roomy and comfortable. It did miss a bath though, which was needed after a long day walking. Breakfast was plentiful and had lots of options and was not overcrowded. I would definitely stay again on a return visit. "
