"Overall a great stay at York Roomzzz. The location is great, only a short walk into town. The room was clean and comfortable, the only issue was the noise from the apartment above, which kept me awake but thankfully not the kids. There was no soap in the bathroom, which we reported and nothing was done. "

"Great location wise and easy walk into the main town good size room, well decorated with well stocked mini bar 😊 Would recommend, only downside was we were in the room downstairs (basement) so view out of windows was not good. "

"Lovely hotel with quirky decor. A real gem and within easy walking distance of the station and city centre. Great that the staff will pick up your luggage from the station on arrival and it was in our room when we arrived. Afternoon tea was wonderful and we loved the pantry and record player in our room. A great place to stay. "

"Room was lovely, very clean and comfortable. Bed very soft. Breakfast good. Had evening meal, daily carvery. Food only lukewarm and vegetables overcooked. Staff were attentive and did offer to warm my dinner up. Think the chef could tske actions to improve food by cooking vegetables in smaller amounts to maintain freshness. Dining toom rather chilly. "

"Just had a 3 night stay at The Old Lodge with my 7 year old son. Everything was as good as it could be, amazing room overlooking the grounds, really comfy beds, nice bathroom, everything nice and clean, staff were brilliant really friendly and professional.. we didn't eat in the evening here we ate out every night but the breakfast was lovely plenty of choice for my son... Couldn't ask for more really and Malton is a lovely little place lots of shops and pubs ... Overall I'd give The Old Lodge...
