"Perfect in every way. Ideal location for exploring York. 10 min walk to access walk around the wall. Wonderful warm and courteous welcome from Noah on arrival at the property and personal send off when key handed in.Comfortable warm bed. Slept like a log. Both room and en suite clean and wecoming. Tea and coffee making facilities available as well as use of a kitchen and small dining table. Cosy atmosphere just to have coffee and relax before retiring to your room. Overnight parking outside...

"The hotel room was large and well furnished, though the bed was slightly uncomfortable and I think the mattress had seen better days. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good and catered pretty well for our vegan diet, though the vegan milk options were somewhat limited. The hotel is ideally placed for access to Knaresborough town centre and had ample private parking. "

"Very friendly helpful staff and instructions before arrival and during my stay. Clean and tidy room. Walls not sound proof so spent the night listening to a neighbour snoring unfortunately but very comfortable bed. Carpet was vacuumed but could do with a shampoo. Excellent breakfast. Tea and coffee making facilities and nice toiletries. Thank you. "

"Wow what a beautiful place. Fabulous room, huge comftable bed with modern bathroom and very refreshing power shower.The room was well stocked with lively teas, coffees and biscuits, no scrimping ! Following morning we had a really beautiful breakfast in a gorgeous breakfast room from a lovely friendly team. It was all topped off with a fall overnight of snow, so we woke up to a stunning winter wonderland. Cant recommend highly enough we will definitely be back and definitely to the Staverley...
