"Visited for one night and we were both very impressed for the price. The staff were all friendly, the room was nice and clean. We stayed DB&B and the breakfast was lovely from the buffet. The evening meal was at The Fat Abbot and this was also really good. Following the meal we sat in the bar at the hotel and ennjoyed a drink in front of the open fire. Liked it that much we are having another night next week."

The hotel itself has a warm and cosy feel and the decorations make it extremely relaxing. Our room was decorated beautifully and exactly to our taste. There was lots of restaurants on the way from the hotel to the shambles. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return! "
