"I have wanted to stay here for years and the experience lived up to my high expectations. I paid extra for a city view room and it was worth it! - the view was amazing! The service I received from everyone was great too, the team really went out of their way. I was able to check in slightly early, got a complimentary drink and a nice personal touch to my room. I will be back!"

"The only bad thing I can say about our stay was that there was only 1 pillow each on the double bed. Normally, in every other hotel I have stayed in, there has either been 2 pillows each or 1 pillow each but 2 spare pillows somewhere in the room. Unfortunately, I didn't find another pillow so I thought it would be ok, however, I woke at 2am with back pain, so had to use a folded towel to put under my pillow, which helped a little."

"I enjoy Malmaison! I like the style, the friendliness of staff, facilities, the difference. Couple of comments for my stay on this occasion: bar was rammed late in the evening and it took 10/15 minutes to get served. More staff should have been allocated. And a Malmaison issue that becomes worse for those of us getting on a bit: the signage for such things as the floor directory in the lift and room numbers on the doors...style over substance! "Very big hotel with lots of facilities that includes swimming pool, spa, gym, 500 car parking, restaurant and bars, etc. value for money and it’s close to the city centre with about 10 min drive. Very big room with king size beds, bath and shower facility with really big windows. Breakfast buffet has hot and cold including Continental options"

"Attended a business dinner then stayed overnight. The food was lovely including the breakfast. Rooms were good (great shower pressure!). The only slight negative was that the earliest breakfast (Saturday) was 8am. My colleague had to leave at 7:15 so he left without food. "

"I stayed at the hotel a day before I was to continue there for a conference. Whitney is amazing!!! Just awesome! Nothing was too much trouble. However, I asked the gent in the mornings at the desk to please refill my shower gel and he didn't - I had to ask Whitney and it was done almost immediately. Breakfast was ok - wasn't awesome. Not a lot of choice in drinks and no hot chocolate for those who do not drink coffee. It was a very nice stay, just wish that the shower gel and shampoo was checked...
