"The hotel couldn’t be in a better location and is convenient for all parts of Reykjavík. The staff were excellent. So many little touches including the check in receptionist noticing that it was recently my birthday to coffee being laid out for those needing to leave the hotel before breakfast started. One thing we weren’t fans of was the bathroom. The glass wall and door afforded very little privacy which we found rather offputting. Overall, a good hotel which I would recommend "

"From the outside you wouldn’t expect what’s the inside is like. You don’t feel like you’re in the city. "

"The hotel staff are very friendly and attend to guests needs quickly. The food is excellent and the chef produced excellent evening meals. Rooms are big and the bathroom had both bath and shower so you could soak out the cold after a day out. Hotel is just outside city centre but public transport is easy to use."

"The welcome was warm. The location excellent due to being right outside #9 bus stop. The blackout blinds did a great job. The room and facilities were great. Fridge and safe in room, lockers for our stuff on the last day. Breakfast choice was vast from hot food to continental choices. Eat as much as you wish as buffet style."
