The staff when we rang were incredibly apologetic about the mix up (not their fault) and made every effort to rectify as quickly as possible. Can’t fault the customer service. "We had a great time at Guesthouse Aurora. It is located right next Hallgrimskirkja, shopping, dining, and old Reykjavík. It was a five minute walk to the BSI bus station where many of our day tours left from.We had a kitchenette and were able to cook for ourselves. Everyone was very nice and they allowed us to store our luggage on day one and our last day before and after check in and check out. Breakfast had many options. The price was price was great for all these amenities!"

"Amazing location and everything I needed. Breakfast was simple but replenished frequently. Free parking was easy to find on the street. I would suggest earplugs and an eye mask for extra comfort, the rooms are quite active at night. "
