"The hotel is situated within easy walking distance of city centre shops, the cathedral and Chester racecourse. All the hotel staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The bedroom had everything required including coffee and tea making facilities. The restaurant offered a good breakfast and a good selection of meals for dinner. We also enjoyed a bit of time in the swimming pool. Excellent."

"This is the best hotel we have stayed in for some time. We were visiting Chester for the races so wanted somewhere near. We were not disappointed as it was less than 10 minutes walk to the race course gates, in fact our room overlooked a small part of the racecourse.
