"Really large room (superior) and all was clean. The room was almost too big for the lack of furniture! A small sofa would have been nicer than the two armchairs. Also very limited tv - why hotels don’t let you use tv apps I don’t know? Bathroom was a good size and toiletries provided. Coffee set up was basic - would have liked to see a coffee machine and more than just Nescafé sachets from a 4 star hotel"

"The staff were great and so welcoming to my 3 year old with colouring books, crayons, and a book library. She was so happy. The hotel was extremely comfortable and clean with all types of amenities. Overnight parking was a reasonable price. We had a lovely time"

"Overall a good weekend stay. Room had almost all that was needed, only 1 pillow. Asked for more and quickly forthcoming, but never been at a hotel before where had to ask. Also only one towel for 2 occupants, then found spare hidden in wardrobe of all places. As noisy as any similar hotel in corridor and doors banging. Didn't hear neighbours banging... Bar shuts at 11 and with no where else to go, the place is loosing out on punters that would have bought more after events and reception. ...

"Nice hotel within walking distance of the NEC. Lots of restaurants nearby and lovely view of the lake. Also nice bar area. "

"Excellent value for money. The price paid for the room was considerably lower on iPad than iPhone for some reason but as such it was great value and I got my room upgrade and early check in - although I had to ask for them both (initially staff didn’t seem to have any awareness of this)."
