"We had a very pleasant stay at Compass. Staff were super friendly. Chris called us to confirm the reservation, and led us to the floor when we arrived. We felt welcomed:) Our room was very clean, and I love the beddings there! Breakfast is another surprise. Highly recommended!"

"I was born in Sarasota, and this particular location I am very fond of because it's so close to the Van Weizel center and beautiful Sarasota Bay. Staff were great! It happened to be prom week when we were there and also some youngsters from a soccer tournament but everybody was extremely well mannered and appeared to be having a great time, and a great staff seems to make that happen. The pool was very active and the hot tub was very nice as well. My only serious issue was parking previously they allowed the parking garage on a non-valet option. Now the parking garage is valet only and your only option is off-site parking. So if you don't want to pay $45 per day plus tipping, you have to park off-site and leave your vehicle at risk."

"Room was comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Clean throughout the facility. Nice sitting area outside. A nice pool and bar area on top....i was unhappy with parking situation. $50 bucks a day."
