"Good food"

"The architecture and setting were wonderful. That said, the property is isolated from the main town of Puerto Vallarta and requires transportation to get off-site. The staff was attentive and friendly. The facility is showing it's age, as it is about 40-50 years old, so there are maintenance issues that need to be addressed. The shower handle in our suite fell off; there was some mold on the corners and closet doors and fixtures that did not work as they should."

"Have gone here for several years. Only problem is it is getting more difficult each to get a Superior one bedroom suite. We had a standard one bedroom which is good but the Superior one bedroom has two bathrooms. The Superior is more expensive but well worth it if one is available."

"We liked the infinity pool, however, the water could have been a bit warmer as the weather was cooler those days. We would have like to see more chairs on the beach instead of just loungers as the older people prefer chairs. More outdoor table and chairs near pool for socializing and playing cards. Also, more seating in the lobby. The furniture in there is minimsl, broken snd uncomfortable"

"The staff was fantastic. I definitely recommend PH or presidential suites and get the black wrist band. Cabanas every day. Only tip.if you want. Samara was VIP concierge and AMAZING! Mu husband got the flu- she sent food, towels, soup, cough meds- and called to check in! Sweet as pie! Made all our reservations. Didn't like the restaurants, so we did buffet (DELICIOUS! EVERY MEAL! ) and only $10 for room service- no fee for the food, so ww ordered everything, lol. A pass thru so NO OPEN...

"Food could have been better. Buffet at lunchtime was awful. Buffet breakfast was good. Some restaraunts did not open until 1800 and some are closed on Tuesdays."

"We were very impressed with this resort. The projection waterfall wall in the centre was amazing!! The food was delicious!! The pools were warm which was very nice. It was modern and the room was very nice as well. I liked the large main plaza. The architecture, design was impressive!! I would recommend this resort to anyone wanting to stay in Punta Mita. "
