"The grounds and property itself are lovely. My lower stars are for small maintenance things - broken bedroom blind, kitchen hob kept turning off. Curtain tie backs broken. All small things that wouldn’t take them much to fix. The pool was very cold this time around. However, this is our 5th visit. We love the place and the staff are second to none. More then makes up for a few little niggles. Lucy on reception is an asset!"

"we had a fantastic break at a reasonable price too. Lovely staff, very good breakfast, gorgeous, well equipped and comfortable room and beautiful decor throughout the inn. Dog welcome in rooms for a reasonable supplement (with extras provided for it too: bowl and welcome kit) and in the pub. Will come back! "
