"We stayed two nights in a Japanese room with private open-air bath. It was fantastic. The room was clean, modern and had everything we needed. Words cannot describe the private open air bath which we used as much as possible. We had dinner and breakfast included - these meals may be challenging for western tastes but if you're feeling adventurous, go for it! Unfortunately the public bath was closed when we visited so I cannot comment on this."

"I loved the cabins, the sauna and hot rob were amazing. You can see Mount Fuji from right outside the cabins, which was pretty cool. The staff were also amazing. I definitely recommend this place."

Fuji, hot spring boiled black eggs and souvenir shops, or go further into nearby town Gora where there are many shops and museums. It is also located near Hakone-en, where there is snow sledding and an aquarium for family fun. There is also another ropeway heading up the mountain to a shrine and panoramic view. "We stayed here in hopes of seeing Mt. Fuji and got the best view. We enjoyed a relaxing day of rain, but woke to sun and a great view. The property is clean and staff freinsly. It was a birthday trip and they noticed it on my passport and created a sign and gift. Should’ve read the details on the website to bring food in, but they were willing to help. Will for sure stay if ever in the area again. "
