"The property is in such an excellent condition. Conveniently located as well, as it is a short walk to Lawson, and also to Lake Kawaguchiko. There are some restaurants around and within walking distance too. Each room comes with it's own onsen, and so convenient. The only downside is the lack of view from the rooms. "This is a traditional ryoken located in a tucked away area. We took a taxi to get there because it was raining but were able to leave by bus. The private onsen was lovely, big and beautifully built. We slept really well in the comfortable tatami room and futon bed."

"We had a lovely stay here! The bathroom could've been a little cleaner which is why we gave it 4/5. The half board is absolutely worth it, the food is incredible and you will not be hungry. The staff is very very nice and were helpful with any questions we had. This was the complete experience and we definitely recommend this location for anyone that wants to do the full traditional Japanese experience! The town is small and easily walkable. "Their customer service is exceptional, our room was large and the private onsen was also very large. The kaiseki dinner was fabulous! We have been to many ryokan and would rate this the best value."

"The property is beautiful and well maintained. The onsen was relaxing and the food delicious. The rooms were spacious with a great view and the staff was very helpful. Only snag might be due to translation errors, where when booking it seems as though you are booked for a dinner, but it doesn't actually reserve the meal. Would suggest anyone going here call hotel in advance to make sure they have sinner reservations set up."

"So our last min trip left us with few practical hotels to chose from. I decided to try a Japanese styled hotel/hostel. That means sleeping on the floor and minimal furniture. It also meant shared bathrooms and showers!😩 The verdict?!?! It was fun! Me and the kids basically built a fort and slept in it. The futons made the floor kinda comfy. One of the ladies spoke English, and was very helpful in navigating our first stay at a Ryokan. Dinner was very fun. The onsens were an exciting new experience as well. We thoroughly enjoyed it."
