"I paid the price of a hotel for a homestay. The hotel is very informal. Reception was friendly but staff have no uniform. The hotel owner's family was using the lobby as their dinning room. "We did the 3 day 2 night cruise and the extra day allows for a better experience of Ha Long bay with the activities provided by Peony. The staff on the cruise are very welcoming and provide a professional service, Candy who was our waitress for all our meals was exceptional.
