"This was probably the most amazing experience I have ever had! The highlight of my partner and I’s trip to Japan. The staff went above and beyond amazing, the food was the best I have probably ever eaten, and the private onsen and room were perfect. I cannot recommend this unique and perfect experience enough. I wish we booked another night and when we come back to Japan, I will prioritize staying again. Literally a perfect experience with amazing staff - thank you so much! "

"There were four friends staying for 3 nights in Japanese style rooms and restaurant. We soon learned that sitting on rice mats for 1.5 hour dinner wasn’t suited to our old Western bones so for remaking 2 days we ate Western table and chairs and asked for additional futons for bedding. In all of this the staff were gracious and obliging at all times and went the extra mile to make us comfortable. The food was excellent and plentiful - too much food really but expertly prepared. The location was great, gardens beautiful, hot outdoor bath lovely. I have noting bad to say. However, there are 2 rooms in the inn that have toilet outside the room in hallway, one was called Take and the other I forget but they were next together. If this bothers you request to have rooms with toilet in room, not hallway, before you book . None of our 3 rooms had a shower in it, you have to use communal shower and hours are 6 to 9:30 am and then again in evening - so be aware."
