"We have stayed here before. Its a pleasant modern hotel and breakfast is included in the price. They do serve food but there is a very good restaurant about 3.mins walk away. The discounted price for paring is £12.50. Our only problem was i had prepaid for the hotel but the receptionist said i hadnt .There was short queue so i didn't immediately query this and i paid. When i checked my invoice from Hotels .com i had paid. On my return to the reception another receptionist refunded my payment....

"This was a very good 2 nights stay. Room very comfortable and well equipped. Location perfect for centre and Metro. The included breakfast was of good standard and even though it was very busy, the staff were amazing at trying to clear tables quickly but not putting pressure on guests. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The only minor problem we had was with the access keys but the staff dealt with that efficiently and apologetically."

"Perfect for a night out or concert in Birmingham. The room was very small so a longer stay would be rough. Right in the centre so perfect for symphony hall, O2 academy, bullring, and the theaters. Clean and the receptionist was friendly and efficient. A couple of nice bars and resteraunts across the road. "

"Simple hotel with leisure facilities. Staff friendly and engaging. Food menu was varied and what I tried was all great standard. Bar was well stocked. Some may find the bar area noisy others will describe as vibrant. Rate was comparable with similar, the pool/steam room and sauna made the difference for me. Never used the gym. "

"Secure parking made this stay easy and gave piece of mind. Rooms are very spacious and all the facilities you’d need. The beds were comfortable. The shower head wasn’t adjustable for settings and was difficult to find the correct power and there was a bit of mould on the sealant. The soap dispenser was also difficult to use. We’d return."

"We had a warm welcome and breakfast was great. We stayed in a family room - queen and double sofa bed. Whilst this was fine for our kids (8 and 11) to share, you might find it a squeeze for older children. Not a criticism just something to bear in mind! "

"Was a nice simple short 1 night stay, only downside for me is that the WiFi signal was terrible, this includes both my mobile data and the actual WiFi for hotel ghests"
