"We stayed at Thistle Heathrow T5 for one night before our flight the next day. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the Aviator bar and restaurant has great views of the runway. The Heathrow Pods make it really easy to travel to and from the airport to the hotel and are lots of fun! My only criticism of the hotel is the extortionate prices in the little shop by the entrance."

"Lovely stay. Close to everything youd need externally. Room was spacious with excellent bathrokm facilities. The quilt was a little short and only getting one, small pillow was disappointing. But overall great stay for the price and location, would stay again."

"Despite the negative comments we’ve read, the room was immaculate. So clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a one night stay. It was also quiet, it had a very comfortable bed plus a huge TV and a spotless bathroom. The complimentary buffet breakfast again was impressive with a lot of choice for a quick feed at 5am The bonus of course was being metres away from the North Terminal check-in zone, and with EasyJet’s Twighlight bag drop so close, it made the start of our holiday so much...

"The staff at the hotel made our stay! They were all very friendly and so helpful and kind. The rooms were clean and tidy. There were thoughtful touches of fruit, biscuits, tea and coffee. The hotel is located a 10 minute walk from Waterloo, so very convenient. We didn't sleep well as there was quite a lot of noise from other hotel residents and outside the hotel, however we were only there one night so it didn't matter. "I like the hotel but I didn’t like the location of it due to the interesting characters and late night drinking due to the casinos & bars around it. On the street it was busy but inside the hotel is quiet. This is a bar bones hotel with a non existent lobby, no mini fridge, no outlet in the bathroom, no complementary water, no kettle, and no closet. "(Review following one night stay on 10/02/25) Staff were very friendly and helpful. They get 6 stars (if that were possible!). Nicely placed, not too far from Queensway underground train station, with the park just a little way down the road. Price could not be beaten and considering what you normally pay in London, very good value. However, would highlight that the property is currently undergoing building works / renovations, so there was building work noise from 8.00am - if I were a late sleeper, might have been miffed."
