"The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We were given free coffee and biscuits while the lady checked that our room was ready,which it was. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was self serve and lovely. There was full English, cereals, fruits and seeds,yoghurts, croissants and pastries and various breads. Jams,honey and Nutella were available for the toast. "Efficient check-in, hotel facilities were very well explained. Despite being older, the hotel was spotless. My room overlooked Crewe station, which for a railway enthusiast like me was ideal. That comes with a lot of noise. There was no double lock on the door and the bathroom door lock was broken I’m a single room this wasn’t an issue. I’d have liked extended mealtimes. I went for dinner at 7:30 and was told they’d stopped taking orders. "
