The bed was so comfortable we had the best nights sleep for a long time. The hotel and grounds were excellent. Very dog friendly. Will definitely be using them again.

Excellent for dog and close to Chester. Good stop in easy reach of M6 north or south. Dogs allowed in the bar but not in the restaurant. Bar not laid up for breakfast on Sunday but was on Monday morning.

We had an excellent but sadly all to brief stay at this hotel. The service was excellent from all staff right down to the wonderfully polite and considerate cleaners. The food both in the evening and at breakfast was exquisite.

Nice pool and spa area. Found our room a bit like a dormitory and not quite what I expected. Lots of walking to get around the hotel as it’s so big. Found the staff not particularly friendly or helpful. Doubt I will be back.

Great hotel, friendly staff and perfect location. The hotel was beautiful upon arrival and although check in was very busy the staff were attentive and polite. We had booked a dog friendly room and they had put in a dog bed, food and water bowls and some treats for my dog which was a lovely touch. Room service was great and the food and cocktails were amazing and reasonably priced. All in all I can’t fault our stay at all and would highly recommend this hotel, especially as a dog friendly trip! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The main building and surrounding grounds are beautiful. The rooms however are in need of updating and the bathrooms are very old and worn. Room service food. Tasted like microwave cooked food and it was most unpleasant, room service was expensive considering what you got for it.

Excellent stop-off on the journey between Scotland and the South West. Staff were friendly and efficient, the restaurant was very good and even with a wedding at the hotel the room was quiet. Would be happy to recommend.
