"I loved staying outside of Reykjavik area and closer to the scenic areas I wanted to explore. I enjoyed staying three nights at this hotel because it was absolutely beautiful, the staff were simply extraordinary, the shop is everything I’d want to buy (if I had enough room in my luggage), and the variety of restaurants with high quality food (tacos, nachos, fish & chips) was super convenient. Free parking. Free breakfast spread including croissants, fresh bread, granola, yogurt, fruit, deli meat...

"Breakfast was amazing and sets you up for the day. Staff are very helpful and personable. Rooms are clean and spacious. I would recommend this hotel. It's a short walk to bus stop 13 by but Foss Hotel Lind is nearer if you have mobility issues."

"Could not recommend this place highly enough. The check in was quick and the front desk attendant walked me to my room. The rooms all had a view of the river that runs behind the hotel and the mountain that overlooks it. Dinner at the restaurant was great. And the outdoor hot tub was a great place to relax and enjoy the northern lights"

"It was what was expected of a hostel type room. The property was a bit outdated and rooms were a bit stuffy temperature wise, but staff did try to make our stay comfortable. Washer and dryer machines were iffy, but the detergent was included at least. We came during the winter, during their off peak season, and they were in the middle of renovations, so I cant fault them for that. Overall it met our needs."

"Excellent location if you have a car. Not good if need public transportation. Bus service is bad on weekends especially Sunday. We waited 40 minutes for a bus on Sunday. We had to use taxis which were quite expensive. "
