"Nov 2024 - This is a very old pub, persevered very well and in keeping with it's original historic 656 year old design. Great food and drink selection and wonderful staff. With that in mind, it is a pub, and therefore very noisy until around 12am later at weekends. "Came for a 2 night stay with husband visiting surrounding towns. Lovely little B&B. The host and staff were friendly and helpful. The bar and food area was busy with a nice atmosphere. On arrival our room was cold, however large radiator was on. Small storage heater was available in the room so this helped. Large radiator never heated up after that first night so room was cold having to use the heater. Only one hand towel in room. Lovely tea/coffee selection. First night husband went to jump...
