Was looking forward to staying here but was really disappointing. Our bathroom wood interior was all chipped and a mess. The AC had a high pitched sound that kept us up so we had to choose between noise or being freezing. Staff are super unhelpful, I was told the kitchen closed at 10.30pm in the restaurant so after a long travelling day was looking forward to food and then they told me it closed at 10. Asked for a recommendation from the bar manager and was told to google it. Wouldn't stay again. Not worthy of 4 stars. It's more 3 at a push.

Couldn't be more disappointed in this hotel. My husband suffered severe food poisoning after consuming the hotel's room service (chicken) and was incredibly unwell for 2 days thereafter, resulting in a lot of distress and cancelled plans. We registered a complaint with reception and was assured we'd be contacted by hotel management, yet there's been no follow up. I've chased by email and not even had the courtesy of a reply - it's now been a week since our stay. The quality of all the food we ordered was dire, the hotel room was tired and the bath was dirty with a non working shower - and we were supposedly staying in one of their superior rooms! A horrendous experience - do not stay here.

First impressions, large secure car park. Very welcoming and lovely reception area. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We only had a snack in the bar/restaurant, but both service and quality were excellent and reasonably priced. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was enjoyable, again made even better by the staff. The chef accommodated my requests (e.g. they didn't have chilli oil, so he made me one with olive oil and chilli's - thank you for that!). The only negative was the fire alarm at 6.30 am. We mentioned this at check-out, and again the staff took this on board and dealt with it in a very positive way. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when next in the area, and we would try the restaurant and spa next time too.

The staff were welcoming and friendly, though incredibly busy they made time for every guest. The food was excellent, the beds were clean and comfy, the spa facilities were great. The only slight issue I would say was that the Showers were a little temperamental, but that did not seriously affect our stay at all. Thank you Park Hall!

Perfect location.
This hotel is in a perfect location. We have stayed a few times in past year or so and this time we enjoyed a meal in the new Park Grill Delicious food would highly recommend it.

Definitely not the luxury stay we were expecting despite the hotel looking so pretty on arrival. We needed a fridge to store food so paid the extra for a family room. It was pretty shabby, bathroom needed a refurb, really dirty headboard on the bed, big black marks on net curtains, leaves on floor. No soap in the bathroom or vanity products and only one tiny shampoo and body wash. No bottled water in the room. The fridge didn't even work and the duty manager tried to persuade us it was working when clearly it wasn't. Eventually he said we could put the food in the hotel kitchen. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was nice if you wanted a cooked buffet, but not the variety or selection or service we expected from this type of hotel. You also have to take a receipt with you to prove you've paid for it! Bonkers! Make sure you put your car details into the terminal in reception or you'll get a FPN too! Sadly, disappointed with our stay and apart from the lovely lady on reception, the staff weren't great.

Our room was nice and clean, not sure it was 4* room. Dinner - good selection of cuisines, we ordered starters and mains, all for some reason was served together. Restaurant looked very appealing and high standard. Not too expensive. Breakfast - we were asked to show receipt as proof that we paid, rather then reception providing room numbers to the lady at the podum, that paid for breakfast. They didn't want to let us in. Who carries receipt with them? You wouldn't expect that from 4* hotel. We did eat in the end. Breakfast was definitely not continental! Poor. SPA facility - lady at the reception was not checking room numbers, anyone from the street could come in and use it. The conservatory area with beds was not cleaned overnight as day before 2 guys had wine there and when we came back this morning, all glasses where still at the tables. Spiderweb everywhere. Pool nice and clean, steam room and sauna nice and clean. Jacuzzi bit too cold.
