"Hotel was good, great location next to station, staff were excellent. The room I had bathroom was awkward impossible to get in and out of bathroom without twisting legs and knees. I stayed in hotels of all levels all over Japan. I never had any had a design like this. The size of bathroom small, that did not matter and can be normal in Japan. "Some things may be a little outdated in the Nara Visitor Center & Inn but it is the best bang for your buck in town & the staff was outstanding - so friendly & helpful! I’m so glad we decided to spend a couple of days in Nara instead of just doing it as the day trip that it is so often marketed as. "February visit Our hotel room was surprisingly spacious, clean and functional. It had 2 twin beds, but my wife and I ended up just utilizing one. Has a mini fridge, tv (for those who care), and disposable slippers. I gave it 5 stars because it was exactly what we were looking for at an affordable price. "This was a fantastic find! It was a comfortable room with private bathroom, laundry and kitchenette which is perfect for longer stays. Very close to a bus stop, which made touring the city easy. Comfortable bed was a huge plus! Highly recommend if you want to stay in Gion. "
