"Incredible property. Perfect for larger groups (mine had 6). You get the whole building to yourself and it’s separated by bathroom (which has a private Onsen), bed rooms, and living room. There were some minor issues but the host was very communicative and quick to fix such as a toilet not flushing or soap dispensers being empty. Overall fantastic stay"

"Michi was so helpful at check-in by walking us to the villa and explaining a bit about the villa’s history and amenities. When we needed to forward our luggage, he was also the person that helped us by writing the information in Japanese to better assist the delivery person. The accommodation was perfect for our family of 4 adults. The only improvement we could recommend is that the seats sink a bit too much and needs to be repaired. "Absolutely wonderful villa nestled in the Higashiyama hills. Beautiful setting and away from the hustle and bustle of Kyoto. Short walk into Gion and right next to a lovely small temple. Friendly staff and everything you need is there. Cant wait to go back."

"There was 8 of us who stayed in the house and we all had our own bed. That is why I booked this house and it was perfect. Don’t hesitate if you’re debating on it. You’ll be so glad you did. You’ll get an authentic feeling stay. Short 4 min walk to 7 Eleven and 6 min walk to bus. It is a farther walk (15ish min) from subway, which is what you’ll need to take when you have luggage.
