"Very clean. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast is some sweet bread. They set out options for pillows from you to choose from. It's a healthy walking distance from Kyoto station with light luggage and the the Nishiki Market area but far enough that it's quiet. Front desk staff was nice. "This is the best Hostel to book on any budget. Since it is also a cafe the interior is upper nice and modern looking. As in the name, the interior is all made of wood and has that amazing wood smell that makes you feel so welcomed and at peace. "This is an extremely well-priced option for a stay in Kyoto, in an accessible but quiet part of the city that is still close enough to be convenient, but far away from the maddening crowds. Great hostel facilities, clean, spacious, comfortable, with all the necessities well looked after, and completely functional. The guests were all very respectable and there are no unnecessary frills.
