"Hotel was good, great location next to station, staff were excellent. The room I had bathroom was awkward impossible to get in and out of bathroom without twisting legs and knees. I stayed in hotels of all levels all over Japan. I never had any had a design like this. The size of bathroom small, that did not matter and can be normal in Japan. "Staff was friendly and helpful. They spoke English so if I was not there, my partner that did not speak Japanese would be comfortable speaking with them. Located about 10-15min from Kyoto station was the best since we travelled out often. I would have to say, the bedding and desk had thick layer of dust. The facility did offer coin laundry which helped. "

"The room although a bit small is exactly what I needed. As someone who is only ever in the room to sleep or make small adjustments to the trip the room is all I needed. They were even able to save my bags until the front desk closes the day you check out. The front desk does close at midnight, I almost missed my fist check in day because Expedia showed it as having 24 hour front desk."
