"Location was great, bed comfy clean towels. Needs few touches plugs in better location needs bathroom shelf, side table etc. Sadly lift not working throughout stay BIG impact on our stay as we were on top floor 8 levels from ground very steep stairs. It deterred us from shopping as unable to carry things upstairs. Our knees badly swollen now!!! Staff were lovely. Needs blackout blinds slightly noisy rooms doors banging"

"This is the second time I have stayed here when working away. The staff are friendly, the food is basic pub grub, but of a high standard. The rooms are clean and comfy, so, nothing to dislike."

"I was pleasantly surprised. Comfy bed. Clean as you like dorm. Even had a hairdryer in dressing table drawer. Really enjoyed my stay. Such friendly and helpful staff too."

"Stayed for a few nights. Really convenient for seeing Liverpool centre, Albert dock area. Easy to get buses at bus station a short walk away. Apart-hotel recently refurbished, clean, quiet, good value for extra space rather than hotel room for family (we had bedroom sofa bed). Slept well, shower was excellent. "

"Clean and comfortable room, ample parking, reasonable prices and very friendly staff - all made our stay a good one. Definitely recommended. Breakfast was continental with option for sausage/bacon sandwich which was enough for us. Also having a pub nextdoor is a great benefit, hotel guests don't have to go around looking for restaurants - so convenient."
