"Our stay in Boracay Midtown Hotel is very disappointing. Upon arrival at the hotel, no staff was immediately available. We had to ring the bell and waited for 5mins under hot environment. The staff wasn't so happy enough when we arrived. When we reached our room, the a/c is not completely working and not as cold as expected. On top of that, we saw small cockroaches in the room which we killed by the way. The next day when we left to enjoy the beach, we set the tag at the door to make up our room...

"If you want waterfront beach access on a budget - this is the place for you . It definitely is a backpackers - the rooms are basic and have a fan (no aircon) the place is spacious but be aware that you can hear everything so don’t expect a quiet stay .
