"Very comfy hotel, ideally situated, staff very helpful "

"The reception area of the hotel is light and airy and very welcoming. We found our room quite easily and it was both comfortable and quiet. The leisure pool was a bonus although it isn’t very big so swimming lengths wasn’t particularly easy. Dinner was nice but it is quite difficult to get 3 courses for the £32 allowance. We just chose two. Breakfast was no more than ok. The coffee was terrible and hot food was lukewarm at best. However, there was a good choice of cereal and fruit and the freshly made porridge was very nice. "

Friendly, efficient check in, bright, clean, comfortable, quiet room. Had a drink from the bar when we got back after a show at the Mayflower theatre too. Couldn’t fault the whole stay, brilliant. "

"Great stay, rooms are beautiful and the renovation in the rooms is really good! The hotel still has a lot of work going on but the rooms are clean, warm and very comfortable. The staff are friendly polite and the breakfast was great! The lady this morning was absolutely brilliant, caring and asked if we needed anything else. Breakfast was a great standard - well done team! One of the nicest hotel stays! "
