"Great location, everything was walking distance, we took the blue train from the airport to downtown Chicago ($5 per person) the hotel was less than a mile walking distance when we got off the train. Great staff very professional and respectful, they also hold your luggage after check out "

Literally ALL the people we encountered at the River Hotel have been incredible. Given the expected turnover in staff in two years, we were thrilled to see the same gentleman behind the counter. The other two staffers were genuine, honest and extremely helpful. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay near the Loop. (One unexpected bonus - if you can spot the Trump building you know where your hotel is - right across the street. ) "
