"Good location only 4 blocks from Bourbon street. Parking was a bit confusing because we had an oversized vehicle and signage and access to the property was not good. When I called to make sure we were in the right garage, the person I spoke with said there wells no access from the garage! There was but on the second floor that we learned later. "Great location on Canal street. Street car for transportation was wonderful. Only used our car one day out of 4.The place was comfy. And loved that we walked to very good eating places multiple times within blocks of the house. Host was responsive."

"This was the perfect location for us. Quiet neighborhood , away from the traffic and businesses of downtown, yet only 20 minutes away. The house is very New Orleans” and has lots of character. Just a short walk away is the Mississippi River and a nice walk on the levee. We didn’t have to bother Tricia at all because everything we needed or wanted was there. "Nothing fancy about this place, but the price is right and it gets the job done. They don’t tell you that you have to pass through a dark uneven path along the side of the house to gain access to the vrbo, there are no towel racks or hooks in the bathroom, no coffee or sweeteners, and no place to put your clothes. "Our party of 4 adults stayed here for 3 nights. It was even nicer than the photos online. Beautiful antiques and roomy updated kitchen. And very close to an amazing Mexican walk-up restaurant and only a few blocks from the ferry (to the French Quarters). Owner was very responsive and personable. Highly recommend!"

"A very nice place in a quiet neighborhood. Short Uber drives to zoo, French Quarter, and Frenchman's Street. Rouse's supermarket is a short drive or an energetic walk away. Very comfortable for four adults. Decor leaves no doubt that you are in New Orleans. We arrive the day before the unofficial start of Carnival and the Mardi Gras tree and lights were already up. Communication with the hosts was great."

"Good place with lots of beds near nice shops and Whole Foods. Host was great at providing music tips, including at le bon temps roulee, which is walking distance away. There is a parking spot but we took the bus or Lyft which worked out well. "
