we had some issue with our room first night, Jason moved us to a different better room for rest of our stay. Also place is next to Burbon and Royal street.

The good -location -good Internet -good channels on big tv(should have Netflix/Prime sign in options) -nice blackout curtains -up high didn’t hear street traffic -restaurant coffee was good The bad -ice cold water in shower for days no matter how long you let it run; finally reached someone to inquire about and they knew but didn’t care or compensate -multiple plugs around room though limited strength/ power coming out; charging devices became nightmare as it took days. Glad we bought battery packs -drawers in room super poorly built; they were broken and off racks; couldn’t use -very humid in room no matter what you did with thermostat; felt wet all the time (in humid area should get rid of carpet) -blinding bathroom light in middle of night; need dimmer or something; then bathroom light kept flickering on random days -bed and pillows way too soft to be comfortable (if you like super soft you’re good -front desk doesn’t answer when you call (on multiple days) -they text during stay asking how things are going but don’t really care what your answer is; don’t text if you’re not going to answer timely or don’t actually plan to act on issues The ugly Overall, there was a real lack of care at this hotel and everything felt old, dirty, and run down (even if you pay to upgrade your room which we did) At first glance room looked nice but it’s just a mess. The service is nonexistent and plain indifferent.

Towels, hot water, and clean bedding seemed to be limited! Four days of cold showers! A room that slept four with only two towels after multiple request… finally having to get onto elevators to track down housekeeping to get a clean towels! Toilets that didn’t flush! Showers and sinks that didn’t drain! Thermostat that didn’t work.., a cold shower in a cold room is miserable! Front desk staff that continually stated that they were unaware of cold water… yet, people were complaining next to us as we checked in, and it was the topic of almost every elevator ride with strangers?!? Great location… (except this particular week)… but facility needs a renovation!

The location was central and easy walking distance to a lot of popular locations such as Jackson Square, Superdome, etc. The room was nice and spacious. My only complaint was the water temperature for the shower was unpredictable and was often cold. It seemed to be better in the early AM. If you waited around 10-12ish it was going to be cold. But saying all of that I would stay there again.

I loved the location. I was able to eat anywhere i wanted on bourbon street. Our car didn't move for two days because everything was right on our doorsteps.

Our room was infested with biting gnats. My son was bitten several times in the hand and neck. His skin was so swollen I had to take him to a quick care clinic to aid his symptoms from the lesions caused by these insects. I reported it but to my knowledge, nothing was done. Our toilet was stopped up. And we had no hot water for 2 days of our stay. I was surprised when I encountered these issues, especially for an establishment of your caliber. And, of course, the terrorist attack just capped off a challenging experience. We left a day early and had to tote multiple bags and suitcases over 3 blocks with no assistance, to get our car. We will NOT be staying in your hotel again. But!! It is beautiful. And it is convenient. We were just disappointed.

Our sink was stopped up when we got there and the hot water didn’t work unless you left the shower on for atleast 20 to 30 minuets before hand! The staff is amazing. Very friendly, polite and outgoing. The only reason I would ever stay here again is because of the staff. With everything that went on during New Years in NOLA this past week, they made sure we were safe and I will take that over hot water any day!

The room we were assigned had not been cleaned, smelled, and had an unmade bed. After going back to the front desk, they reassigned us to a room right next to the elevator that sounded like a freight train. On night 2, a man and woman had a fight in the hallway and citizens tried to help. Guns and getting knocked out were mentioned. The woman was mostly naked. We asked for smaller pillows and the front desk roller her eyes and said, we ain’t got but one kind. It was dirty, unsafe, and a miserable experience. The homeless outside the front door was terrible too. Just awful!

The properties only positive is location. It's a great location. The staff was terrible. Our toilet was clogged upon arrival. We tried to reach the front desk by phone. Called 7 times with no answer. Husband went downstairs they said 5-10 mins. Waited an hour before going out for the day. Came back around 7pm. Still not fixed. Called back with no answer. Went back downstairs to the desk they said 15 mins. Waited for about 45 mins. Still no help. Ended up going to bed around 3am after waiting, no toilet all day and night had to use downstairs. Woke up and went back downstairs and they said 30 mins because they were busy. Waited another hour with nothing. Finally my husband had to wait at the desk until they got somebody to fix it. We were well over 24 hours with no working toilet and many complaints. We asked if they could just give us the plunger to do it and they refused. The rooms were not clean. We received many towels that had stains on them. When we tried to get more towels they said they had no more towels to give out. It was a terrible place with terrible staff. Will not be staying here again.

Great location and the concierge was great. She was very informative and helpful. The shower could’ve been warmer though and the bathrooms need renovations.
