Cabin Rentals in Western Region

"Stayed in small camping pod and loved it. Loved the atmosphere there. Overall, much greater than I expected, and I already was excited for the stay. the restaurant overlooking the waterfalls and river, the troll garden stroll, the hot tubs. All superb. It is in a remote area and provided us an excellent view of the northern lights, which we watched from the hot tub. Ideal experience, I recommend giving it a shot. "

I didn't and ended up disturbing a lovely woman and her very cute dog around 9pm because we didn't know how to check in. When we got into the cabin, we were happy with it and it was comfortable. My only recommendation is to have a shade on the bathroom window because the decorative curtain didn't necessarily give enough privacy for me. I would definitely recommend this...

"We had a fantastic stay at this cute and cozy cabin. It is perfect for 2 adults. It was an easy drive from Reykjavík and the town Borgarnes had everything that we would have needed. The kitchen/dining/living room was a nice open concept that made the space feel large and the views with this specific cabin were beautiful and private. The fireplace and sauna were awesome to have. "We really loved the peaceful setting of the cabin. It felt so spacious for our group of two! The views were wonderful especially the glacier in the distance. It is definitely quite a ride into town so we were glad to have brought food to cook there. It was a great spot to access the Snaefellsnes peninsula which we did in one day. We would have loved to stay longer!"

"This cottage is well placed for exploring the west of Iceland, with Snaefellsness Penisula, Reykjavik and the golden circle route all within easy driving distance. Shopping and cafes can be found in Borgarnes, about 10 minutes drive away. It also provides a good view to the north and west in the event of Northern Lights. "Beautiful, cozy, perfect little cottage for our family of 5. With a spectacular view of the river and mountains from every room, we enjoyed the hot tub late into the night. Perfectly clean, warm and comfortable beds. A hidden gem!! "
