Cabin Rentals in Iceland

"First of all, I had read the reviews about getting a hold of the owner to get your pin code and room and anticipated some difficulty doing the same. They had two numbers listed on the wall outside. I couldn't find a free phone to use, but I was able to message the 2nd number on Whatsapp and get an immediate response (I tried to call the number a few times and didn't get an answer so messaging them was the way to go). "Stayed in small camping pod and loved it. Loved the atmosphere there. Overall, much greater than I expected, and I already was excited for the stay. the restaurant overlooking the waterfalls and river, the troll garden stroll, the hot tubs. All superb. It is in a remote area and provided us an excellent view of the northern lights, which we watched from the hot tub. Ideal experience, I recommend giving it a shot. "

"The place wasn't difficult to find, I was a bit worried when I was booking. The location is great, it is close to a lot of tourist attractions. Our room had a wonderful view of the falls. The wind and rain were strong when we stayed, but there wasn't any issue. The room design was chic and posh. The kitchen was fully equipped. I wish they will have flexible/refundable booking option. It was also a bit pricey. I will recommend for longer stays. "

"If you book here, you will receive check in instructions via email - which likely will go to your spam, so check there! I didn't and ended up disturbing a lovely woman and her very cute dog around 9pm because we didn't know how to check in. When we got into the cabin, we were happy with it and it was comfortable. My only recommendation is to have a shade on the bathroom window because the decorative curtain didn't necessarily give enough privacy for me. I would definitely recommend this...
