"Great hotel. Always reliably 5 stars. Rooms are very quiet with great bathrooms with separate tub and shower. Great location with a Starbucks downstairs. The only limitation is one restaurant but good restaurants are close by including Mortons. "

"The staff was awesome and nice . Breakfast could have been better but I guess you get what you pay for but for the most part the rooms were nice and the staff were nice . I didn’t like how thin the walls are I could hear every conversations from the hall ways and ppl in their rooms which made it hard to sleep. Other than that for the price and location it was doable. Not much to complain about . Thanks for having clean rooms and nice staff . "

"What a gem! The mansions on 5th was an excellent surprise. This area of Pittsburgh is gorgeous. We were touring Carnegie Mellon and were able to easily walk over to the campus tour. Rooms are updated, clean and comfortable. beds were extremely comfortable. Staff very friendly and accommodating. If my daughter ends up at Carnegie Mellon, we will be back!"

"We stayed for one night during our anniversary weekend and had dinner in the hotel restaurant. Our dinners were unique to the restaurant and really delicious. The staff were all wonderful and welcoming, the room was clean and had what we needed. The history of the hotel is neat so if you like staying in places with a little history to it, this is definitely the place. "
