I really enjoyed my stay here. It is conveniently located next to a massive shopping plaza which hosts major stores such as Target, Walmart, Bath & Body Works, and an IKEA which made it very easy to obtain groceries and toiletries. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I requested late checkout by one hour which they granted free of charge. Area was very quiet and perfect for a relaxing weekend. It is also less than 10 minutes away from the International Airport which made it a favorite. I will definitely be staying again in the future when I visit Pitt.

A few hours after we checked in we were exploring the city and had received a call that the boiler for the hot water heater broke and they were unsure when it would be fixed. We were told we could cancel with no fee which was nice of them, but it was super inconvenient trying to find a new place to stay for my family while we were already in a different state.

They canceled my reservation that I had already checked in for a 5:30pm the day I was checking in! I was an hour away from the hotel and very last minute had to find a new place to stay as I had a 6am flight out of Pittsburgh the next morning. So unacceptable and all they gave was a refund no other compensation for the extremely stressful situation.

The hot water did not work for part of our stay. Also, the phone in our room did not work, so I had to call the front desk from my phone instead. The room was in rough shape. Paint was peeling off of the walls, the curtains did not close all of the way, and when we turned on the coffee machine an old, moldy liquid came out and smelled up the entire room.

I did know what to expect from the driveway in needs repaved badly, exterior made me wonder if it was open, but inside was very nice. Check in lady was superb, room is clean, restaurant in site is closed I guess, needs a chef if anyone is looking. Restroom clean but whoever did the remodel should be fired because their professional finish looks like a first year construction trades trainee did the job. But over nice so far.
