"The cabin is a relaxing, comfortable and quiet place in a wonderful location close to Carolina Horse Park (about 10 minutes), and a variety of grocery and other stores (about 15 minutes in either direction). The setting is peaceful and enchanting with a couple of ponds, lots of birds and wildlife. I saw a "herd" of wild turkeys, lots of deer, and some of the largest squirrels I've ever seen! "Though the property is dated and could use some upgrades, the owners keep it very clean and do room freshen ups daily. The beds were comfortable and the linens were in good shape. Everything in the room worked (TV, clock, etc.) and there was a mini fridge and microwave. One thing missing though is a coffee maker in the room. We brought our own but that's an essential.
