"Overall acceptable, rooms nice and beds comfortable, pillows a little too squishy. Bathroom dilapidated with shower gel bottle detached from the wall and quite a few spots of black mould in the grouting. Breakfast was good, excellent choice of continental and cooked items and for once a decent hotel coffee. Men’s toilets near breakfast area needs work and toilet rolls just placed on the floor. I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay again."

"What a gem! I regularly stay in Watford on a regular basis I as I have an office there and most of my customer visits are easily commutable from the station. I was struggling for accommodation and took a chance in something new! I’m delighted I did because the Cristal Apartments are fantastic! Wonderful to have a “home from home” when you’re away. So instead of having to worry about calling room service in hotel, simply spend a fraction of the expenses on tea, coffee etc, stick a pizza in the...

"We enjoyed our stay at the Grove. It is a lovely hotel, especially if you are a golfer. Food wise The Glasshouse has a wonderful selection of food - but it is buffet (not every one’s cup of tea). The food at The Stables was also very good, but if you have some mobility difficulties, it is a long walk outdoors to get there! Concierge will arrange a buggy - but take your coat in winter! Lovely breakfast in the Glasshouse with excellent selection. Obviously The Grove is not cheap!"
