"Our stay was very enjoyable and they offered a very good breakfast. The hotel was undergoing some renovations but it was never an issue with our stay. The location was convenient for town and also very relaxing by the beach. "

The last day, two ladies even brought my breakfast to my room without me even asking- I thought that a very thoughtful gesture. The staff were all lovely, with only one exception- the manager, who I believe, owns the place. I am disabled, and overheard her making a joke about me and disabled people to her...

"We were told there was no air conditioning within the hotel but a/c was on @ breakfast but not in the rooms. Place is run down some rooms need a candle to see in the bathroom. Recommend 2nd floor if you may have difficulities lifting luggage up flight of stairs. "

"The location of the flat was ideal for exploring the island. Pingo Doce, a very large supermarket, was a two minute drive. Mariana was very responsive and helpful. She was very kind and had many suggestions to help make our vacation a spectacular experience. There are many excellent restaurants on the island but having the ability to cook and enjoy our meals on the very spacious balcony made the vacation extra special.
