"We stayed for just one night at the Beach House. It was a spur-of-the-moment trip and we had a little dog with us. We were very pleased to realize that the Beach House accepts pets ($20 per night) and not only that, they really make the pets welcome. When I checked in we received a bag with a sheet to spread across the bed where the dog would be laying, two dog treats and two poop bags, and a list of conditions. They were really prepared for people with pets, and we appreciated that! Our check-in was easy and fairly quick and it was just a short walk to our room. We had a room with 2 queen beds and an estuary view with a balcony. Our building had (I think) 3 other guest rooms in it, and had an exterior locking door. My room key was good to unlock the exterior door as well as my own room. The room was very clean and well appointed, and the beds were quite comfortable. The room had a mini-fridge and also a microwave and a Keurig coffee maker. There was also a large screen TV which we did not use. The balcony came with 2 chairs and a footstool, which were thoughtfully inside the room so that they remained clean. The bathroom was wonderful and had a walk-in shower that was very comfortable. Overall I would give this property 5 stars and would stay here again."

"I was very pleased by my experience. My room was up to date with decor and furnishings, the towels were fluffy, the shower was hot with plenty of water pressure, the bedding was pristine and comfortable, and everything was very clean. I would be delighted to come back anytime. "

"I would stay in this hotel over and over again. I stayed on the 2nd floor. If you are on the bottom floor, I am not sure how much of a view you can get. I wish there were a 3rd floor so as a solo female traveler, I would feel safer keeping the sliding door open to hear the ocean. You cannot beat the view. There is a coastal trail that you can walk. There are enough restaurants and things to do. I stayed 2 nights and wanted to stay longer. It is so peaceful and relaxing. Downtown Fort Bragg has a little shopping center that you can walk for boutique stores. There is also a Safeway, CVS within driving distance. 5 stars for sure!!"

"The king-sized bed gave us the best sleep we've had in our last few trips staying elsewhere. The room was clean, including the dark carpet, and the mirror over the bathroom sink was well lighted with what I assume was full-spectrum light. The small refrigerator was on the larger side. My husband was impressed with the solar panels and the 3 Tesla charging stations. My only regret was that there was no hot food for breakfast (no meat or eggs), and that it was too heavy on sugar. No decaf coffee, but a nice selection of teas."
