"We've stayed at this property 3 times now and we keep returning because it's perfect for our small family of four. It's within walking distance of downtown restaurants regardless of weather, it's an easy drive up to the ski resort, it has an open floor plan which makes the small footprint feel larger, and we even used the wood burning stove for the first time to help dry gloves (not on, but near). "Great little house for our winter getaway. Beds were a bit firm for me and the wife kids had no problems with them. That was our only gripe and it’s just a personal preference. Didn’t put a damper on our stay though as it was nothing a hot shower in the morning couldn’t take care of. Quaint little house in a quiet neighborhood."

"The house was perfect for our family gathering over Labor Day weekend. There are plenty of separate areas to give everyone space to spread out and not feel so "comfy". The downstairs with pool table and shuffle board provided hours of entertainment. Poker night around the large dining table was a big hit. "Very peaceful location on the Trinity river. The accommodation was very cozy and well suited for all ages including dog friendly. Outdoor BBQ, fire pit, and corn hole games were a plus. Would recommend this place and will likely return for my next fly fishing trip. "

"This was the perfect setting for our family Christmas. Going above and beyond, our hosts set up a Christmas tree and even had a sweet gift under the tree when we arrived. Our backdrop for Christmas was the beautiful Mt. Shasta. The home was well set-up for our needs of cooking many meals and Christmas dinner as well. "Perfect place for big group of 16. We have rented this place twice now and have had a great time both stays! Has everything for a big grout of guys or a few families. Everything is just nice enough to not worry about breaking something. Pool is too cold for October though. A heated pool would make the place even better. We will probably be back a some point."

"We had a great time here at Montana Grove and exploring the surrounding lakes, mountains and charming historical towns. The pool and yard are perfect for summer but this would be good in winter too with all the games and toys downstairs. The beds were comfortable and the house is beautifully decorated.The house had all we needed and more. We hope to stay again! "
