"This is a great example of a country style inn. It's warm and very inviting. The staff are welcoming and very helpful. There is no lift (elevator) so that may pose a problem for some people. The rooms are old but well maintained and very comfortable. There is a nice on-site bar and restaurant with a huge, centrally located fireplace that can be enjoyed from everywhere on the main floor. Tetbury is a Cotswolds style village with some good eateries and pubs. We reaĺly enjoyed our stay."

"Our superior double room had a very very quirky decor but clean and roomy. The bed was set up two stairs which were difficult to negotiate safely at night. The staff were very helpful and polite. The breakfast was a continental buffet - OK. The coffee was lovely! The town is beautiful."

"Genuine old Pub/restuarant , able to select 2 items from starter menu plus salad and baked potatoe . All very good .Same for breakfast had a small portion and did not eat to much. Good flexibility. "

"Great pub accommodation above a charming old inn. Obviously there is some noise from the bar but it wasn’t intrusive enough to prevent me from getting to sleep. King size four poster bed was very comfortable and I slept well. Only concern was the very hot towel rail adjacent to the loo, I’d hate to lean against it whilst having sampled one to many of the ales downstairs. "
