Great location and extremely convenient to have the free parking that we could come and go from and which was a 2 minute walk away. The staff were very friendly. Good breakfast with extra choices included to order like pancakes and omelettes. The room had a nice style - the brown decor looked modern rather than 70s - which I had wondered when booking from some of the pictures. The room itself was clean but overall a bit worn around the edges. Overall would stay again because of the convenience.

Stayed here with my family after visiting BIMM University. The hotel is convenient to car parking which is free, but you do need to come out of the car park and walk round the back to the hotel which I did at night and it was a little bit sketchy. The room was dated and needs a revamp, the bath and toilet old and dated. The room was chock full of amenities, water, shampoo, body wash, bottle opener, ice bucket. The mattresses were so incredibly soft, so if you like a soft mattress you are going to be in heaven. It was a tad too soft for me and especially next to my husband, it felt like a waterbed. Lol The breakfast was £15 each if pre-booked, there was lots of variety, the sausage and bacon were on the cheap side but I enjoyed them but my husband who quite like an expensive sausage struggled! The corridor had quite a funky smell, can’t quite work it out smell like old people and musty. The staff fantastic and friendly.

I'd booked a twin room, which was a room with a double bed and a sofa bed; I'd emailed ahead of the booking to confirm that the sofa bed would be made ready before arrival. I received no response to the email, and the sofa bed wasn't made up. The bathroom had a slight smell present, I am not sure if it was damp or mould. The bathroom as in need or some minor repairs as tiles had started to come loose and grouting was missing on the floor. The sofa bed was also a bit knackered and not exceptionally comfortable. The room in general requires a bit more care and attention. Not the most loved of hotel rooms, and whilst the location was ideal as in the city centre, the hotel could do with a bit more looking after.

Comfortable city break
Pleasant room (given free upgrade as we wanted a bath rather than shower) room was spacious and very comfortable. Lady at reception very helpful at check in. Convenient location for most sightseeing. Free car parking was an absolute bonus.
