"I love this hotel because it is quite unusual with lots of artefacts and antiques to look at. It is not a luxury hotel it is a budget hotel. I found my stay very very comfortable and it’s the quietest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I will definitely be staying here again if I’m in the area. I was able to get an Uber to the city centre for £6. Thank you for having me."

"Great location for town centre visit friendly staff on site and they also have a few board games in the bar great atmosphere felt very relaxed here and managed to catch some rugby and darts too!"

"We stayed on a very quiet evening mid January for dinner, bed and breakfast. I imagine the hotel would be very different on a busy day in summer when it was full. We had a fantastic relaxing stay. Great shower, comfortable bed and spacious room. We enjoyed our cooked breakfast - other items were limited due to how quiet the hotel was I think. "
