"We had a terrible stay at this hotel and had to leave a day early. The road way to the hotel is appalling and full of pot holes. On arrival at reception the receptionist was pleasant, we then got to our room, even before entering you were hit by the smell of damp and mould, we entered the room and straight away had to open windows because of the smell. We then had to kill numerous spiders and upon looking in the bathroom we were greeted by mould around the bath and on the light fitting, the tv...

"The proprietors were very welcoming & nothing was too much trouble. The church clock tower behind is a good reference point. A lovely place in a great area. "

"Hotel dining was not open so wasn’t able to try it. Check closing days before booking if you want to eat there. Room was clean, comfortable and warm. Recommended it to colleagues who have also booked rooms and been equally happy. Sadly couldn’t use recently due to price increase at half term. "

Didnt eat at the restaurant so cant comment on food. Only negatives, room was a little cold and you can hear noise from corridors and other rooms but wasnt excessive. "
