"Lakefront Lodge was the perfect place to stay for our stopover before heading to Milford Sound. The room was well equipped and clean. Loved the picnic tables provided by each room as well…perfect for morning tea or evening takeaway! The location was great as well with easy access to the lakefront walking/biking path and town. Would stay here again when stopping over in Te Anau!"

"My wife and I found this place to be a well run with helpful and friendly owners. It wasn’t fancy but it was really nice. Our room had a very comfortable bed, lots of space and all the amenities we needed for two nights. The location was an quick drive to Te Anau and a nice easy drive to Manapouri (where we caught the 7:30 am cruise to Doubtful Sound). We’d stay there again. Thanks"
