I stayed in one of the small cabins on site. The cabin had a bunk bed (double on the bottom, single on the top), a large table, two stools, a fridge and even a small television. It was comfortable for two nights, and clearly clean and well maintained. As the name suggests, the view was splendid.
The shared bathroom facilities are immaculately clean and look like new. I’ve seen worse en-suite bathrooms in hotels!
I did not use the kitchen facilities, but it looked well-stocked and clean. I did use the laundry, which was very handy. $2 gives you half an hour in the washing machine and $2 for half an hour in the tumble dryer.
The setting itself is peaceful, rural and attractive. Everyone who stayed there seemed friendly and respectful of their neighbours.
Location is a short drive into are Anau where there are restaurants, bars and plenty of activities. The location is very handy for the road to Milford Sound.
Thanks for a lovely stay!
