"Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was very nice and plenty of choice, including veggie and vegan options. The room itself was a bit "tired" looking and the same goes for the bathroom - both could do with a bit of a makeover. But the bed was large, clean and comfortable and i had everything i needed for two nights."

The noise behind my room however, was terrible, bottles and rubbish being emptied day and night (tried to sleep late afternoon following a long drive). "It used to be the perfect place to stay in the region, but I see it starts to lose its service level. Waiting for osomeone to come to the reception for 20 minutes and it took another 20 mins to check us in...and we are regularly going there for business."

"Great location in Friar Street the prettiest and oldest street in the city centre, with good cafes and restaurants on the doorstep. Quiet. Everywhere is within walking distance. A bit shabby but it’s an old building and reasonably priced for the location and we only slept there, so good value for money"
